The Ethiopian Brown pepper comes to us from Ethiopia, Africa. The peppers ripen from green to reddish brown and have smoky sweet flavor notes. The Ethiopian Brown chiles have a good medium heat level and are great for salsa, pickling, sauces and dry rubs or seasoning. They are very productive and produce early. The Ethiopian Brown chile plants grow over 4 feet tall.This is a medium hot pepper when well-watered, and can get quite hot when growing conditions are dry and hot.
